An Encouraging Psalm Adaptation

Prayer lists and prayer chains are working overtime these days. At least I know several of mine are. Everything from lost jobs/unemployment, illness & injuries, unexpected death, suicide, abuse, family/domestic issues . . .

So a few years ago I did an adaptation of David’s Psalm 121 replacing all the I, me, my, mine with We, our and us.

You can also “Pray the Psalms” when praying for someone specific. Just insert his/her/their name in the appropriate place. It is amazing how comforting and calming it can be.
